Happy International Yoga Day, bendy friends! (And also my not-so-bendy friends. Because yoga is for everyone.) To celebrate this glorious day, we visited Lexi and Dom, the badass babes behind Wild Thing Yoga, who shared one of their favourite flows with us. And if this video doesn’t make you want to roll out your mat immediately, then you’re dead to me.
Because obviously. If you haven’t tried this airy Sea Point studio yet, you’re missing out on life. I love the unique playlists (the teachers play everything from Britney to Kanye while guiding your moves) and all-round good vibes of the space.
Whether you’re into bikram, vinyasa or ashtanga, this bright studio is a Southern Suburbs favourite. Get ready to get sweaty, no matter what level you’re at. Remember, yoga is a whole lot more than being able to do the poses.
Need fresh perspective? I’ve been dying to try aerial yoga for some time, and Radiance offers just that. It’s based in Stellenbosch, which means I’ll naturally have to pop in at a few wine farms afterwards. (Life is about balance).
Founded by Lauren Sale, this studio is located in the heart of Cape Town, and offers Pilates and personal training as well as yoga. Seems like the perfect spot for a relaxed vinyasa after work, right?
Well, there you have it. There’s no excuse to dive straight into your couch this evening – here’s to #InternationalYogaDay!
