You may have repeated your order in your head a million times, but that doesn’t stop your mind from going blank when you get to the front of the line. You probably panic, and end up asking for something completely different, don’t you? I’ve been there. Actually, who am I kidding, I LIVE there. Especially when I’m trying to order Starbucks (which has recently joined the ENTERTAINER family btw).
It’s tough out there, which is why we’ve broken it down and put together a list of simple things to remember when you go to Starbucks, so you can start ordering like a pro. Check out the video, and have a look below:
This is an easy place to start. Some people like it extra hot, some people like it iced. Either way, there’s a temperature for you. Just let the barista know.
They have fancy names. But basically:
Short = Small
Tall = Medium
Grande = Large
Venti = Extra large
(Fun fact: Venti means “twenty” in Italian, and used because a Venti contains 20 ounces per serving. We may not use “ounces” here in South Africa, but it’s still a fun fact ?)
I mean, why would you want decaf? But if you do, then be sure to mention it before you start bouncing off the walls.
Starbucks has everything from fat-free to full cream, and even dairy-free alternatives. Bring on the almond, soya, and coconut milk!
Did you know Starbucks has sugar-free syrups? So go on, add that extra guilt-free shot of vanilla, or dollop of whipped cream to your order.
