I’m the first to admit that I’m a sucker for a good party. Especially when there’s an excellent reason to celebrate. On 8 December 2016, we hosted a beast of a bash at the Fire and Ice Hotel, because we’ve got a brand new app and it’s awesome.

The idea was to showcase a selection of our top merchants by creating a walk-through experience of our app. The food, drinks and prizes were all sponsored by our lovely partners, who pulled out the big guns. Big thanks to them all!

Our guests had the chance to win some rad prizes throughout the launch, including a luxurious stay at Crystal Towers and a gigantic imported chocolate hamper from the Wings Group. I was mildly jealous of the winners, I won’t lie. Entertainment was provided by Ryan Kidwell (who killed it on the guitar) and DJ Kilopascal (who got the party started a little later on).

But the real purpose of the event was to bring people together. Over 200 guests attended, which included merchants, bloggers, and brand lovers alike. We’ve never put such a mix of people in one room – and I can’t wait to do it again. So, 2017, here’s to you. And here’s to the Entertainer!
