How To Seize The Day In An Hour (Or Less)

Stop what you’re doing right now and read this, because you need to seize the day.

You know that moment when Robin Williams starts whispering “carpe diem” in Dead Poets Society? Well that’s me right now, telling you to carpe diem and seize the day. Because life is short (cheesy, but true) and we need to make the most of the time we have left here on earth.

Now I probably know what you’re saying. “But HOW can I make the most of life and seize the day when I work a full day?” Although it may seem like you don’t have enough time, the ENTERTAINER has plenty of activities that you can do in an hour or less. Whether it’s after work, or during a lunch break, here are a few things that you can tick off your bucket list.

ATTENTION: Don’t forget to post a photo of your adventures to Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter and use #EntertainerBucketList to enter our competition and you could win an amazing getaway! Click here for more info.

Glide through the water with SUP Cape Town:

Stand-up paddling is definitely something I’ve always wanted to try! Apparently it’s a full body workout and you don’t even need a lot of experience. So take a break from the world and float down the canal.

JOHANNESBURG & PRETORIA

Relax and unwind at Renaissance Spa Sandton:

With so many bright screens, technological noise, and stressful distractions, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to unwind and relax. Bowl a strike at The Fun Company:

Whether you’re super competitive and want to show your friends who’s boss, or you’re just playing for fun, you can never go wrong with bowling. It’s literally one of the only places where it’s acceptable to throw something at something else. #JustSaying

Act like a kid again at Rush SA:

Problem: Adulting is hard. And we’re constantly looking for ways to feel free like we did when we were young and all our worries seemed so far away.

Solution: A whole room of trampolines and a foam pit. Yes, you read that correctly. A. Whole. Room. I know your inner child is convinced and doesn’t want to read anymore, so go jump your heart out ?

Satisfy your sweet tooth with Sugarlicious:

I’ve probably spoken about this place before, but I need to mention it again, because they combine two of my favourite things: macarons and ice cream. Doesn’t that sound like pure and delicious happiness in a dessert?!
